Man Accused of Rape Attempt On Pregnant Woman In Nagaon, Assam

Guwahati: A man named Jibon Patar has been accused of attempting rape on a pregnant woman in Nagaon's Rangaloo area.

Reportedly, locals claimed that he along with another person tried to abduct and rape the woman; however, the locals prevented it after hearing the woman voice who was shouting for help.

Meanwhile, another woman also claimed that Patar had been involved in such incidents earlier also.

Locals in the area also alleged that the police have not taken any actions against him even after repeated complaints.

However, the police said that the investigation is going and soon the actual truth will be out.
